Hey guys,
Well it's three weeks to outreach, it's so exciting going to the Philippines in three weeks. We've had some plans change, we're coming back to Perth slightly earlier because of our second lecture phase, so we'll be back mid November, till when we leave December 29th to India. I still need $1,500 for the India phase I have till September 20th to get those finances in, so basically an extra two weeks.
We've been studying all sorts of stuff over the last few weeks, family planning, what new borns act like, healthy cord care, baby resuscitation, how to help with grief, learning how to do injections, nursing, post partum, Muslim world view, primary healthcare, spiritual side of birth and things spoke & done to the baby. It's been incredible just the vast differences in what we learn, and how it'll affect what we do and act on outreach!
It's been amazing seeing how much of our class has grown, closer to God and to each other; and just praising with each other over the money we needed coming in, our total of all the finances we needed for outreach was $230,000 and now we only need $12,024aud. God's faithfulness just blows me away.
Currently it's Wednesday for me, it's so cool knowing God is still gonna provide all the finances by tonight for the rest of outreach! Tonight (your Wednesday morning) we're gonna stay up to eleven, praising, praying and fighting for each other till we get the rest of the finances!
