-HYDERABAD-
The last month we were in Hyderabad we had a change of leaders, and a bit of change of pace. We started going to the hospitals very early in the morning, since it was getting really hot early in the day. We’d work in the cooler part of the day, and then go home, have lunch, rest, or work on homework. We saw an amazing amount of breakthrough during that very short month. The early mornings were more than worth it to see, and be a part of the wonderful things God did!
We built amazing relationships with doctors, nurses, students and the cleaning ladys. We got to see people give their lives to Jesus, babies raised from the dead, and 227 babies ~over the course of our whole time in Hyderabad~ welcomed in Jesus name!
-CIRCUITS-
“Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good!” Psalm 34:8a
It’s only half way through circuits, but it has been amazing to see what God is doing and what He’ll do with future teams. We spent ten days in the Nagpur YWAM base, and I think we were all sad and happy to leave; Sad because the area was so soft to God and what he was doing, we met so many churches we can’t wait to work with again, happy because we were excited to see what God was going to do in Kharua Kalan.
While in Nagpur we did a lot of healthcare gospels in villages, teaching on germs, how they spread, and good hand washing. We also got to hold a few clinics and even got to go with a hospital medical outreach truck and go to villages that are too far away to go to the hospital to get normal check ups, and check them once a month!
Kharua Kalan is much smaller then Nagpur, we’re living at the YWAM base here. They have a children’s home with over 117 kids, orphans, half orphans, broken homes or kicked out, not being taken care of because of health problems and they’ve just taken them in and loved on them, educated and taught them to be a big family. We haven’t even been here a week, and yet we’ve been accepted to work in a hospital, we have friends getting some traditional birth attendants together (the ones who haven’t ever had any proper medical training), and hoping to share God with them, and bring more education to them and the homes they go to! We only spend two weeks here, but I personally can’t wait to come back in the future!
We leave on the 9th for our last location, Ahmadnagar (try saying that without an Indian correcting you haha), and we have no idea what waits for us there. We’ll also be spending two weeks there, and then start our trip back to Hyderabad. From there we fly back to Perth for report back week(debriefing)! It’s hard to believe we have a little more then three weeks left in India. I’ve really come to love this country, the people, the culture and God’s heart for them.
I can’t wait to see all of you in just over a month, and tell you all the stories in person along with showing you the pictures! Just a little reminder, I will only be home for about two months! Because I’ll be returning to staff in early August, I still need to raise almost all of my support for one time costs and monthly finances. I’d love to hang out with your family, friends or home group to share my stories, vision, and what God has spoken to me about joining the staff at the YWAM Perth base. Or if you’d like me to share with your church, write me so we can start working on scheduling a time to come.
Miss you guys a lot, shoot me a message, I’d love to talk to you!
All the love from India
