Hello friends,
How’re y’all? What have y’all been up to?
Last weekend I
moved apartments, and have been settling into this new flat with old and new flat
mates. I've been enjoying the decorating aspect and figuring out the new little quirks of where people like to hang out inside the house, how you can hear everyone inside the flat (we lowkey overhear stuff from the bedrooms or from the living room.), and really enjoying the randomness of what mornings and evenings look like as people head out or come in at the end of the day.
Inside the training development team, that I
have been working with for the last two months, we’ve been making progress with
the accreditation of the different schools on base. I really enjoy the fact
that we have been able to learn so many random facts and have man many laughs,
inside creating for the next generation of schools inside YWAM. It’s been
encouraging getting to see the progress we’re making, considering we’re trying
very hard to reaching a goal of being done by a certain time- it’s so lovely to
see it’s closer to being possible.
Inside the base we have been hearing from God
and seeing what we can do while still in this season of shut boarders. As a
base we’ve felt to run certain schools online. I mentioned before the bible
core course, that school graduated this week which is amazing, the base it also
running the school
of worship, school
of communication, transformation
school, LAPS,
school
of frontier missions, and a health
care seminar, and the base is offering weeks from different schools for people
who want to join in.
One thing I’m super pumped about is the health
care seminar, it’s the Biblical mandate for missions, anyone and everyone can
join, not in missions or healthcare, come, into missions and healthcare, come- ALL
ARE WELCOME.
Just wanted to express once again how thankful
I am to y’all for how you have support me, it’s been encouraging getting to see
and tell you guys about what I’m up to and that life is still happening outside
of lockdown and board lockdowns.
I would love prayer for health and energy, it’s winter here and even with
the limitations and precautions for every ones health, sickness from food or
common colds still happen and I don’t want to be held back in that.
Would love to hear from y’all, be able to pray for you and hear how you
and your family are.
Love y’all, Joannah!
