BAS

  I'm leaving in less than a week for outreach, it's so cool realizing it's finally happening. Most of my team mates have become a little stir crazy and are excited to leave Friday, while my team leaves Sunday.

Since my last update I've been officially accepted into the birth attendance school, fun thing about that is trusting for finances. Found out I'll need some things for BAS, like stethoscope, blood pressure cuff, scrubs, the lecture phase money- all before it starts in July. Current money situation-
Application- $25 Done
Visa- $20 Done
Insurance- $450
Personal needs- $370
Equipment- $400
Lecture- $4,145
Outreach- $7,700
Visa Run- $600
Home Ticket- $1,700
Total- $15,410

*Immunization- $865
Grand total- $16,275

^^ I'll need some money for mandatory immunizations for getting into countries, I have to make a visa run: it's for renewing my visa so I can stay in Australia for my full lecture phase. And of course home ticket is so that I can go home if God doesn't call me go stay in Australia or in another country after BAS.

  A lot of the final costs are really up in the air, so much depends on where, when, what I have to have and what I can live without and such.  I'll be more sure when I get back from outreach in three months, but when I get back from outreach I'll have two weeks to- do a visa run, (basically leave the country, cancel my current visa, apply for a new one and then when I get it, fly back), I have to have the money for the visa run, to order my equipment so that it's here when BAS starts, and a week after it starts I have to have all my lecture phase money in. So I need about $5,415 within three months.

  I know to a lot of people that that sounds super scary and slightly depressing, but since being here I've learned to trust God so much and I've seen Him provide over 26k for everyone in my class that still needed outreach money.  Sixteen thousand is nothing for God, as my team mates love joking: God's will, God's bill.
