Goodbye Outreach

  Well guys we have less then 10 days till we start driving back to Perth for report back. Less then 23 days and people start heading home, DTS will be over and people will be moving to the next stage. It's so weird having gone through so much with these guys, emotional highs and lows, incredible break throughs and just seeing the out pouring of God's goodness through lecture phase and outreach. It's gonna be hard saying goodbye.

Outreach high lights-
  Honestly the amount of laughter, team unity, weird phrases only our team understands, the flexibility and the chill to just roll with how many COPS (Change of plans) we had, was just with a huge part of outreach. I learned a lot of stuff in DTS, but also done it too. I've learned how to give my testimony: and gave it multiple times to crowds of 15 to 50 or more (despite all fear of man), learned how to tell the gospel and told it multiple times to crowds of 15 to 50+, I've lead several people to Christ, I've prayed for and seeing instant healing on a number of occasions, worked with multiple churches and such huge unity & humility. And yet the best part was God. Just watching Him come down in Manila: Navotas, moving in people's lives, working in myself and my team mates. Him growing, challenging and moving us closer to where He wants us to be. It's breathtaking bro.

After outreach I just can't wait to see how He'll move even more in BAS. I've been blessed so much already, right before outreach started God told me to give away the couple hundred dollars I had been saving (out of fear and unbelief). Outreach during Manila I received a total of $600 from several different people, which was amazing. When we got back to Perth and the outback I received another $1500!

Immunization- $865

Outreach- $7,700

Home Ticket- $1,700

Grand total- $14,935

Current total- $10,450

I need $3,630 by July 4th, and in the most honest and blunt way possible I need the $865 by August and $7,700 is due September 6th.  I know that sounds pretty crazy, $12,495 dollars in three months! Thankfully I'm trusting God for that money not man.

Some ways you can be part of the adventure:
⁃ Get a old baby bottle, write "Midwife Joannah" on it and every time you see it you can pray and if you have change you can drop it in.
⁃ Or once a week lay aside your Starbucks money, $5 a week.

  I'm honestly so excited for BAS (in case you couldn't tell), you might remember during lecture phase God told me to lay down India and look at the bigger picture of the 10/40 window. I've always wanted to go to the Middle East, and so much of the teaching before DTS has focused on the Muslim world. Yay God already introducing things he would want me to be apart of 5+ years later! Living with muslims in San Antonio and when going through perspective them teaching all on Muslim communities and how to work with them.
