Health care teaching in a community with a pastor, taught on weening foods and good nutrition.

Well we’re almost half way done with the school, which is really weird realizing in seven months I’ll be coming home.  God has proven Himself over and over in my time during the first lecture phase, our two months in Manila and the time that we’ve been here debriefing and getting into the swing of more lecture and Christmas.

The two above pictures are a feeding program we got to do with the local lying in clinic we delivered baby's at. We saw 150 kids get fed and 150 give their lives to Jesus!

Before Manila God (and my lovely staff) was working a lot in my past and how I view my past, lies I believe/d about God and myself. In Manila God worked on more lies and how I practically come against lies. Also a lot on vulnerability with God and my team/family, it's hard being vulnerable you give people the ability to hurt you and trust that they won't.  It's scary but learning to do it anyway, it's been hard at times but seeing breakthrough in those areas were so worth it!

While we're in Manila our team had this blessing of being part of sixteen births, I got to personally deliver two with the help of my leader, the picture above is Joseph (the name I got from God for him). I got to deliver him October 7th (barely it was like 1:50am). I also delivered baby David, a couple weeks later, and I assisted with two other births as the secondary midwife.

When we get to teach weening foods sometimes someone has to play baby, and they get fed mashed bananas mixed with milk.  And if you don't like it there is always next time when they get to be baby and you get to feed them. hehe

We love giving baby hats (that have been prayed over) to new born baby,
and just praying for them and their mother.

We've been in Perth for a week now, and God has been speaking a lot on refinement and maturity which means more growth and breakthrough opportunities.

It's summer time in Australia (it's very weird seeing christmas decor and people at the beach), so for a rest day our whole class went to the beach and just enjoyed each others company and the sunshine.

Well we've already started lectures on complications in pregnancy & birth and did debrief from our time in Manila.  We have about four more weeks of lectures, the last week is Christmas and getting ready to leave for India!
